The Residence Inn located in the Houston Medical Center is another example of Pieper Houston’s’ ability to deliver quality electrical contracting services on time and on budget.  Completed in just 15 months this 166,000-sf new limited service hotel has 182 guest rooms on 16 floors.  The hotel Residence Inn includes a large lobby, lounge, an indoor pool, and four meeting/conference rooms. Also included is a 70,000-square-foot parking garage.

In 2019, Pieper began extensive renovations inside and out transforming this property into a luxury destination. Pieper’s team provided state-of-the-art lighting on both the hotel and along the perimeter grounds. Among the many challenges for any project requiring renovations, this hotel remained operational during construction.

In October 2017, Pieper worked with Tellepsen Construction to install the electrical infrastructure and lighting for the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge.  This hotel is the largest of its kind in the nation, housing families and cancer patients undergoing treatment at MD Anderson in Houston Texas’ own Medical Center. The multiple story building consists of 64 patient suites spanning at more than 68,000 square feet.

Jesse H. Jones Rotary House International

This is a modern hotel designated for MD Anderson Cancer Center’s patients and their families that is also linked to the hospital.

Pieper did the electrical and subbed out the FA. This was a complete floor-by-floor demo and build back of nine levels of guest rooms. The renovation also included half of levels 1 and 2, which were lobbies and dining areas.
